My name is Amber and I am the owner of Scrappy Girl Designs. I am the mother of two beautiful little girls, 2 and 5 years old. They, along with my husband are the joy of my life. It has been since the birth of my second daughter that I decided that being home with them was extremely important. That along with my dream to own a scrapbooking business is what lead me to open Scrappy Girl Designs.

I love kits. I've been putting my own kits together for years. It has helped me get control of my supplies and use everything I buy. I used to by the cutest paper, but never knew what to do with them. That's when I started kitting. It caught on among my scrapbooking buddies and Scrappy Girl Designs was born.

I have been scrapbooking since 1996. I was addicted the minute I did my first page and have been going strong ever since. I love creating albums that reflect who I am and who my family is. I never realized how inportant it is until I lost 3 grandparents in 2 years. All three of them had amazing stories to tell, that are now gone with them. My parentswere also left with boxes of photos, half of which they don't know who the people are. What a gift it will be to have my albums passed down through the generations. It's nice to know that my stories will never be forgotten.What I love the most about scrapbooking is the creative outlet. But as a busy mom, I understand that sometimes there just isn't time to be creative. That's why I created Scrappy Girl Designs. I wanted kits that were easy and quick to assemble, but still fantastic enough to WOW my family and friends with. I've also fallen in love with altered items. Just like scrapbooking, it only took one project and I was hooked!
